Vel, dagen min idag har ikke akkurat vært særlig spennende. Mesteparten av formiddagen innebar å sove ut rusen fra natten før. Etter å ha kommet seg på bena og sittet på nett i slåbrock en god stund fant jeg det for godt å få på litt klær for å komme meg til foreldrene til middag. Det var akkurat rundt der det begynte å skje teite ting. Når jeg kom ut, regnte det. Jeg begynte å gå og fant ut at det også var så kaldt at allt regnet ble til is på bakken. Som igjen medførte at det var speilblankt overalt. Derfor skled jeg som en gal og brukte 45min! på å komme meg til folka. Ikke bare det, men paraplyen kræsja fullstendig også, så jeg måtte holde den sammen mens jeg forsøkte febrilsk å holde meg på bena. I tillegg! (dette er kanskje det kjipeste) rånere kjører forbi i vill fart med en sølepytt like ved siden av meg. Den greier selvfølgelig å komme seg over meg og gjøre meg dyvåt av søle. Fun -.- Vel, jeg om meg nå uansett hjem. Fikk middag, som var veldig god, å satt der og kikket en stund. Etter litt reiste jeg hjem igjen, men fikk da låne sånne metalldingser du kan slenge under bena. Da gikk det litt lettere å gå :P. Kom deretter hjem og har sittet her siden. End of day!

It’s about 02:36 now, and i’m bored. I’ve been sitting here since 12:30 (That’s when i stood up), and doing nothing. I’ve been on irc the entire day and had a quick trip to the supermarket for some food. After that i made a pizza and watched Jackie Chan – Police story. Nice movie actually. Did you know that, that movie was the movie Jackie Chan sustained most injuries? Because of the playing with glass and all. Pretty scary. After that, i’m back on irc. Trying to find something to do. I’m planning on working on my website or going to sleep. Who knows what time will bring. *ranting*. I’ve also come to like Zeromancer. They’re what’s left of Seigmen. I remember i loved that group so much! Now they’re gone. And only memories left. I still love their songs thoug, and play them all the time. Wish they would continue, but hey, it can’t all last forever.

Yep, it's the first day of the new year and i'm sick. Too much to drink last nigth i guess. I was with some friends and we had a big new years party. Sendt up a bunch of expensive rockets and drank a lot of beer, shots and drinks. After a while i got so drunk that, according to my friends, they had to carry me up to bed. Kind of sucks really. I don't like not remembering what i did. Last thing i remember was talking on the phone then it all became dark and i had no more memory. Well, i woke up the next day with an big headace, pain in my stomach and in general, pain all over. Luckily Tom had to go to work, so i hitched a ride home with him. Now i'm sitting home, not so much headace and stomach pain anymore, but i still need a shower and some fresh clothes.

Okay, the day today was’nt too bad. I went to work at 9′o clock. Worked until 17′o clock. After that i made an agreement with Tom that we’d go training afterwards. I then went, bought two hot dogs and walked home (yes, i know it’s stupid buying hot dogs before training, but i was hungry). When i came home i went straight for my laptop (as usual) and started downloading some network apps i’ve found later the day at work. After about 3-4 hours Tom arrived and we went straight for trainging at Elixia. After about 1 hour of training i was pooped and coulnd’nt take another step. We then went for a shower. And boy, was that water cold. For some reason they didn’t have enough warm water. So i showered, in cold water >_<; Damn, that hurts. Anyhow, after a few minutes we dressed up and went to Hercules for some food. Of course, it was closed. Then we figured out that they are open at Kiwi until 23:00. We went there and i bought a pack of burgers and a Mia pizza (my favoritte ^^). We then went our seperate ways. When i came home i, again, sat down at my computer. Discussed Linux for a while with a person and, now i’m frying burgers and trying to find out what movie to watch. Any suggestions? The night is still young and i’ll be starting work 16:00 tomorrow. So long sleep before work :D See ya!

Okay, today i’ve been really up and down. It’s been a long time since i’ve had to post here, but here goes. I woke up at about 08:30 and was about to go to work, when i figured out my head was about to explode. I had a really hard headace and i couldn’t get it to stop. So i went back to bed and slept until about 09:30. I was supposed to go to work at 10, but i figured out that my head was in so much pain, that i had to take the day off. I called work and told them i was sick. Then i went straight to my laptop and read mail etc. as usual. I still had a headace, but hey, i love my computer. When it was about 13:00 i figured i should get som breakfast. I made the regular bread and jam, then took a warm shower. I figured it was time to do something, so i got in contact with Stian that asked if i were to meet him in town. So i did and we just walked around, trying to find some 1-day hair dye for Stian :p Anyway, later i went up to Christian, another friend of mine and we had a LAN. I of course had my laptop with me, and we traded some stuff. Later i was planning on going to Porsgrunn for another LAN. On the bus to Porsgrunn i figured out i was really hungry, but i didn’t care. I then hooked me up to the nettwork at my old school and copied some stuff Pål had asked me to get for him. By then i was really tired, hungry and had yet another headace (wich had left when i took a shower earlier) Then i waited for about 20min for the god damn buss, before i finally got home. Now i’m at my kitchen floor, eating noodles with meatballs and ranting in this rant.

I will stop updating my livejournal from now on(not that i ever updated it that much), and do all my blogging on my own homepage, that’s on http://penpen.evangelion.nu if anyone missed it ;)

I’ll still comment on friends posts, so don’t worry about that. I’m not as good as i should be at commenting, but i’ll get there =)

hm, maybe i’ll update on livejournal if it’s REALLY important and something i only want to share with close friends.

Seems I wasn’t very good with line breaks back then, and to some extend I still fail at that part, but at least I had the occasional nerdy post ;)

However, I’d like to just write a bit about how my day with dad turned out. Now to be fair, I was rather nervous before meeting up with him at a bar in Porsgrunn. It’s been so long since I last saw him, and I didn’t quite know how he would be, or react to me wanting to meet up with him, after 2 years of no contact. However, it turned out very good I must say. We got along great, had a couple of beers and talked some more, and before we knew it, 2 hours had passed. And actually, we were even photographed by the local paper for a column called “På by’n”.

I was very happy that we had such a good time, and even more that my kid sister, Marie, really wanted to meet up with me after Christmas and spend the day together. Hopefully we’ll all have a bit better relationship from now on, and at least keep in touch now and then. It made me very happy, and I went home with a smile on my face that day.

As for today (or as some claim “yesterday”) there haven’t been much going on. Most of my day I’ve spent at home keeping the fire burning and watching more Heroes. I’m almost done with the season and it pains me to think there’s no more until the next season starts airing. I am however looking forward to it with great pleasure.
I have also managed to get a proper upload system up and running. One that enables me to upload and share files quickly, either by link or email, and it also keeps track on how many downloads each file has had. And a very crude and simple script that gives a more graphic representation of how long the upload takes, how fast it’s going and how much there is left. Both will be available at my dump site shortly. If anyone require a place to quickly upload a file and share it among friends, don’t be afraid to use it. The site is pruned regularly and storage space is not an issue.

I also managed to take a couple of pictures of the incredible winter we’re having down here. It’s simply mesmerizing to go outside and see all the snow crystals covering everything.

And just as a small tidbit at the end. I highly recommend you go check out JibJab.com. It’s a page where you put yourself into movie clips. I had a great time and laughed myself silly watching my friends jumping around :D

And just so it’s been said, yes I miss Alina an awfully lot. We call every day several times a day, and proclaim our longing for each other. I can hardly wait to get back up there and meet her yet again. I love you darling! <3

After some work with the almighty ductape and some cardboard, I managed to attach the webcam to my window and aim it towards the road. See on Saturday I had a quick trip to Clas Ohlson, and I got this bright idea about getting a 5 meter long USB extension cord, so I could put my webcam anywhere I wanted. Thus I was able to put the cam in the window.

So the cam was up, and everything is running smoothly, so I decided I’d might as well place it on this mainpage as well. Got this javascript running and everything, so the image on the right actually updates every 30 sec without loading the rest of the site, which is pretty cool.

Once I’ve recorded an entire day in pictures I’ll make a stop-motion video of it and post it here for all to see. Safe to say it’s pretty fun seeing all the cars, people and the different shades of light. Only problem I’ve had so far is that wen it snows allot (like it does now) the cam has problems catching the light properly, and it gets very dark. And when its very bright outside, the cam can’t dim the light and everything gets very bright.
I’ll probably experiment a bit with that later, but it works ok for now.

I also put together my old computer parts, and tried to get a new server working, but it seems the graphics card is busted, so I have to get a “new” one somewhere. If anyone got some old card lying around, do let me know! I’d love to get this computer up and running again. It’s probably just going to be a simple server for me to play with for now, but there’s not much I can do with no display :p

As for this night, man I had the worst toothache ever….We went to sleep around 12′o clock, and by then my toothache really hurt, so I tried to sleep for about half an hour, but finally it was just too much. So I 2 ibux and went back, but after another 10 minutes, I figured the best would be to just get up and walk around for a bit. To get the pills to work quicker. They started working around 1:30, but by then I felt pretty awake, so i stayed up for another 1 and 1/2 hours just starting torrents and playing around on the Interwebs.
So yeah, I really need to get to the dentist and get this fixed. I was at the dentist the other day, but paying 900kr just to check my teeth, and get to know how much it would be to fixed it, really scared me off…
Still, this pain is just too much to bare, so I’ll probably try to get an appointment before I head home and get the bad tooth pulled out. It will probably set me back around 1000/1200kr, but I can’t go around eating painkillers all the time, I’ll be a drug addict if I continue.

Seeing as I didn’t get much sleep last night, I called work and asked if I were set up to work today, which I wasn’t, so thankfully I could go back to sleep and get a few more hours of shuteye.

Right now I’m waiting for Alina to send me a text, and let me know that she’s done cutting and colouring her hair, so I can go meet up with her at Solsiden. I’m very excited to see how it looks :)

How the HELL did I manage to generate that amount of traffic?! Well, after some investigation I stumble upon this line

Yeah, a song I uploaded to my server for a friend of mine had been registered by the Google Bot and the masses flowed through the gates. Still, my host has a 40gb traffic limit, so I’m still well within the limits of monthly traffic. Still, it could have gone a hell of allot worse.

I’ve cleaned up allot of old crap on my server now, so hopefully I won’t have that problem again :p

So what’s been going on lately you might wonder? (or don’t). Not that much really. I’ve been working quite allot lately, mostly just going to work at day, and heading home in the evenings to relax. I’ve been spending a bit too much money on movies as always, but at the same time there’s nothing better then to extend ones movie collection a bit ;)

Oh and I’ve also gotten to know two people at work better these past weeks.I’ve been sitting in the same room with Espen and Torkil and we’ve been talking allot of trash, so we’ve really got to know each other well. Which is nice, I always like getting to know new people. Turns out they both play in bands, and Espen is the bass player for a band called Tripod which really play some funky grunge type music. I was supposed to be at a concert they were having the other day at Storås Utested, but I didn’t have the money for it, and Alina is still only 19 so we wouldn’t have gotten in anyway.

Btw,Just the other day, after paycheck me and Espen even went to Peppes pizza during lunch and had a pizza buffet, so we ate like crazy people before we went back to work too stuffed to do anything but sit and complain. Great fun :p

I saw an absolutely awesome movie the other day by the way, called La Strada by Fredrico Felini. And i must say, it’s by far one of the best movies I’ve seen. The actors were incredible and the emotions Gelsomina in the movie goes trough is really portrayed in an incredibly lifelike manner. A must see for anyone interested in old classics. I also stumbled over it the other day on Platekompaniet and of course I had to buy it.

Today it’s Saturday, so of course I’m relaxing as much as possible. Alina went to Sweden for a short trip with a couple of friends a couple of hours ago, and won’t be back for at least 2-3 or more hours, so I’ll probably spend it here in front of the computer just watching series and relaxing. After we got our connection back up, downloading in 420kb/s really gets allot of stuff down fast :D So I’m constantly queuing up stuff to download. Sooner or later my HD will fill up though, but until then, I’ll drain this connection dry!

We also might be heading for a party with some school friends of Alina later today, seeing as they’re having a pre-exam party, but it kind of depends on how we both feel I guess.
