It has been quite a while since I wrote something now. Mostly because I simply haven’t had the time, being busy with other stuff, and when I have had the time, I’ve not really been in the blogging mood. So, without further a due, here’s a round-up of what’s been happening the past week:

DVD shelf

So Alina and I finally managed to get our shelves up for the DVDs. We had been planning on getting them up for quite a long time, and we used just as much time having the planks stand in the hallway, waiting to be cut, painted and set up. Finally we got around to do it, and it turned out really well!
Out drinking with my co-workers

So on Friday (25/07) my work was having a party for Vidar (one of my co-workers) seeing as he was leaving us for a new job. We were going to start having a couple of beers and play Wii at work, then head for Solsiden to Peppes for pizza and more beer. When it was around 4 we started with the beers, but I had promised Alina I would get us a Wii that day, seeing as I received my paycheck, so I went to town and met her, we bought ourselves a Wii at Mamoz, and then we went back home. I changed some clothes, fixed myself up a bit, and went back to work.

By then of course most of the guys have had a couple of beers and was preparing to go, so we head onwards to Solsiden. We came to Peppes, got a nice table and more people joined shortly after. We were about 10 people when the pizzas and beer came, and boy there was a lot of beer after a while… When the company is paying for the beer, people tend to go little overboard, so I think we all had about 2 beers each at all times.

After having about 3-4 beers (or more?) at Peppes, we decided we should head out on town. We went to Bar Circus, where we got our own private lounge and more beer. Also, after a while I started on JD&Coke, which they decided I needed more of, so at several times I had two of them as well.

By this time It starts getting blurry, I remember having allot of drinks on circus, and I have been told later on that we went to Down Town, all tough I really can’t remember that. I can however remember being at the bar in Down Town with the previous boss for Crystone, and this is the last thing I remember him saying “I’m going to drink you under the table! Give us 8 drinks!”….. After that, everything went black and I woke up on the sofa in our apartment the next day.

Turns out I had managed to get Alina to come pick me up (which was by my part I think quite a good idea), which she did. Safe to say she was not pleased the next day, having to drag my drunk ass through town wasn’t exactly that much fun.

Safe to say, I will never drink that much again, or at least not with my colleagues, just with Alina and friends.

And yeah, I actually managed to forget my bag at Down Town, and had a couple of days where I was really scared that it might have been stolen, because none of my co-workers did remember seeing it either.

Wii and fit

This week we got ourselves a Wii Fit for our Wii, seeing as Alina really wants to get in a bit better shape (and I should probably work a bit on my physique as well). I tried it out after coming back from work, and I must say, it really tires you out! At first I was really doubting if anything like that could even work, but turns out you are doing some really heavy exercise.

Well, silly as I am, I might have just overdone it, because after playing for about 35 minutes, I felt really tired. And the same night, I had a seriously bad fever which stuck with me all night and the next day. Might have been that my body wasn’t prepared for such exercise, so it just decided to shut down instead of dealing with it. Good job body… Thankfully I feel much better now, so I will no doubt be trying the Wii fit again soon. Just have to remember to warm up a bit before I go at it.

By the way, If anyone want to trade the Wii key things, let us know! We’d love to link up with you guys :)
The rest of this week will be consisting of Alina and me celebrating our 1 year anniversary! I can’t believe it’s already been a whole year, but time flies when you’re having a good time :) We will no doubt be having a nice dinner, maybe a movie, and generally just spend the day together.

It’s finally Christmas! (well technically it’s past Christmas here in Norway. You Brits or Americans might celebrate on the morning of the 25th, but not us, oh no. We’re impatient :p).
So after being at friends all day yesterday (the 23rd that is), eating pizza, snacks, having sodas, watching movies and playing WII, I was in bed at around 4 after watching the last episode of Heroes (OMGLOLFFS! Damn cliffhangers and their cliffhangerness! I want season 3 NOW!…) and reading a chapter in my book.

Today I got up at around one, had a good long shower and fixed myself up for the evening to come. Mom had made rice porridge which is custom in our family and of course the almond was in place in a random bowl of porridge (well it was really a peanut, seeing as mom didn’t have any almonds, but who’s picky). And of course, after just two bites, it was mine! All mine :D And the reward, a marzipan pig and a scratch ticket. Sadly I didn’t win, but it was fun non the less.
After watching the obligatory Christmas movies, like the Disney Christmas, Tante Pose and of course the butler and the countess which is also a tradition to watch here in Norway., my grandfather shows up and it’s time for dinner.
As is tradition in our family, we have rib for Christmas, and rice pudding. However this year the rib wasn’t particularly good. It was way too much fat on it and was just sickening if you ate too much. The meaty parts were ok though, but I’d really wish it had been a bit better. Still, I ate until I couldn’t eat any more, so I guess it wasn’t that bad :p

After relaxing a bit, trying to get the rib to settle, it was of course time for the coffee and cakes. Man we eat allot on Christmas…..Anyway, after a few sips, my brother can’t stop nagging about opening presents, so my mom gives the go. He runs for the presents and starts throwing them to everyone as fast as possible.

I got quite allot of stuff actually, especially seeing as my age kind of makes people stop buying presents for me. Being old sucks…

Anyway, this is what I got for Christmas:
- 3000kr.
- A warm wool sweater.
- wool underwear.
- 007 – On her majesty’s secret service.
- A book called “Drageløperen” or “The Kite runner” in English.
- A couple of dvds my brother made with various shows on them.
- And the best present of the year in my opinion:

A very snazzy teapot with glasses :D

I also got a tea called “Høstflørt” (Fall flirt) with them. I’m sure Alina will love them as well, as she’s just as much a tea drinker as I am.

Now I’d just like to post a few pictures I’ve taken in order to properly give that Christmas feel.

This is our Christmas tree, for being the first time ever where I wasn’t the one cordinating the decorations on the Christmas tree, I think it turned out pretty good.

This is a bowl of nuts, go figure :p

And last, but not least, a crackling fire (all tough taken with a very slow shutter speed, so it looks kind of fancy and purple-like)

Tomorrow is the big drinking day here in Skien, so I’m going over to a friends house with around 13-14 people and will no doubt drink until I can’t see straight, then of course head out on town and drink some more. I am however not looking forward to walking home afterwards, but I’ll probably manage.
Hopefully I’ll have enough to drink on though, I’m getting some beers from my stepdad, but that’s it really. I’ll probably mooch a bit of my friends though, some vodka or something, so there will no doubt be enough intoxication ;)

Well, it’s due time for some sleeping now. Even though it’s just as late as it was yesterday. Man I sure hope I get my sleeping patterns adjusted by the time I’m heading back to Trondheim, otherwise I’ll have a hard time getting to work.

Good night, and Merry Christmas to you all!

As you might understand by the date on this post, I’m up quite late. And I blame it all on Heroes to be honest. Damn that show is entertaining, and seeing as every episode has a cliffhanger on the end, I just can’t not watch the next episode. Almost done now though, only one episode left.

However, I’d like to just write a bit about how my day with dad turned out. Now to be fair, I was rather nervous before meeting up with him at a bar in Porsgrunn. It’s been so long since I last saw him, and I didn’t quite know how he would be, or react to me wanting to meet up with him, after 2 years of no contact. However, it turned out very good I must say. We got along great, had a couple of beers and talked some more, and before we knew it, 2 hours had passed. And actually, we were even photographed by the local paper for a column called “På by’n”.

I was very happy that we had such a good time, and even more that my kid sister, Marie, really wanted to meet up with me after Christmas and spend the day together. Hopefully we’ll all have a bit better relationship from now on, and at least keep in touch now and then. It made me very happy, and I went home with a smile on my face that day.

As for today (or as some claim “yesterday”) there haven’t been much going on. Most of my day I’ve spent at home keeping the fire burning and watching more Heroes. I’m almost done with the season and it pains me to think there’s no more until the next season starts airing. I am however looking forward to it with great pleasure.
I have also managed to get a proper upload system up and running. One that enables me to upload and share files quickly, either by link or email, and it also keeps track on how many downloads each file has had. And a very crude and simple script that gives a more graphic representation of how long the upload takes, how fast it’s going and how much there is left. Both will be available at my dump site shortly. If anyone require a place to quickly upload a file and share it among friends, don’t be afraid to use it. The site is pruned regularly and storage space is not an issue.

I also managed to take a couple of pictures of the incredible winter we’re having down here. It’s simply mesmerizing to go outside and see all the snow crystals covering everything.

And just as a small tidbit at the end. I highly recommend you go check out JibJab.com. It’s a page where you put yourself into movie clips. I had a great time and laughed myself silly watching my friends jumping around :D

And just so it’s been said, yes I miss Alina an awfully lot. We call every day several times a day, and proclaim our longing for each other. I can hardly wait to get back up there and meet her yet again. I love you darling! <3

Finally a blog, after quite a long time. So what are my main reasons for not posting a blog for all this time? Well, first of all, pure laziness, but after a few days another reason came up. See we were supposed to change our ISP to NextGentel, alas that would be not as easy as we thought. First of all, Wilma (my landlord) ordered a new connection from NGT, blissfully unaware of the fact that Tele2 (our previous provider) didn’t accept her order, due to her being registered with her middle name as well in their database, and they couldn’t by that verify that she was the owner of the account… Second of all, tele2 decided it would be clever to close down our connection 3 days BEFORE we got our new stuff set up from NGT, so after 3 days of no Internet, the router stuff from NGT arrived (all tough 1 day later the expected), and to our horror, we had received an defect router!.. So it was back to calling NGT, ordering a replacement and wait for that.
We of course ordered the new router when we figured out the one we received was defect, which was on Saturday. So we probably have to wait until either Tuesday or Wednesday until we will be able to connect the new router back up.
Lots of fun dealing with ISP’s, you never know what problems might occur…

Anyway, right now I’m writing this on my computer, but it will be posted at work tomorrow during my break, seeing as that’s the only place i can seem to get this done. Seems I’ll probably be spending time on the net from work, NAV or the library the next couple of days :s

So what has happened in my life these last days after i came back home from Skien? Well, i came home at around 7am in the morning, after the usual long train ride. Fun part was that i actually met someone i knew on the train. Kim from Outland was at the same train as me, with some of his friends. I slept for the most part during the entire trip though, so we didn’t get to talk as much.
Arriving at the train station i was greeted by a somewhat tired, but very happy Alina, which really put a big smile on my face. It was so good to see her again and i was really happy to see that she actually woke up that early on a Saturday morning just to come and meet me.
After heading back home and getting some sleep, we went to her place, packed the rest of her stuff and went back to my place to prepare for the H-Party. We cleaned my room and made some pizza. Just in time for everyone to arrive. We had a great time and talked quite allot, but after a while i got really sick and had to go throw up like several times during the evening. And no, it had nothing to do with drinking. To be honest i have no idea what the reason for it was, but I’m pretty sure i must have caught something whilst om the train back.
So the next 3 days i was pretty much sick, lying in bed or sitting in front of my computer trying to keep myself sedated on pills and warm drinks. I had a fever and was quite nauscious all the time. On Sunday i did get out and didn’t actually feel that bad. I even managed to help Alina move her stuff to my apartment from her old place. Thankfully Julian helped, otherwise we’d probably have had to work twice as long, but i got sick again later that evening and was in a pretty bad shape that night and the next 2 days.

After getting better i got back to work and managed to work at least Thursday and Friday before the weekend. And by then i was pretty ok.
The weekend i didn’t really do much to be honest. I mostly just relaxed at home and tried to recuperate for the coming week. Seeing as i still felt somewhat queezy.

The previous week (or this week, seeing as I’m writing this on a Sunday) I’ve been busy working every day all week. Monday to Friday. Most the days It’s just been wake up at 7, go to work at 8, back home at 4 (or walk around aimlessly in town), have some food, relax at home with Alina, then back at work again the following morning.
Thursday was fun though, me and Alina went to NTNU Gløshaugen to join a Christmas Workshop to make loorollsantas, braided hearts and Christmas cards. The Online group had arranged it at one of the classrooms there, and there were around 20 people or so there. We had gingerbread cookies and «Gløgg» and had great fun with some classmates of Alina. I made a loorollsanta and some hearts, and Alina made a couple of Christmas cards and 2 loorollsantas.

This weekend there was a new party, the J-Party. Me and Alina didn’t have any costumes at all, and seeing as we didn’t have time to make anything (well, she hadn’t any time, seeing as she was at work all day, i on the other hand did have time, but was too lazy to do so :s), we just went up there.
We still had a great time though, and i managed to actually get a costume as well after a while. I got dressed up as «jente», or «girl» in English. And i was told i looked quite good….Scary stuff.
We got quite drunk after a while and had a great time. At around 12 we went with the rest of the people out to get a buss and get into town. Me and Alina both decided once we were in town that it was about time to get home, so we stumbled our way home which of course took quite allot longer then it usually does, but then again, it always does when you’re drunk :p. Back home we got some food, drank allot of water and tried to get at least partially sober so we could get to bed without feeling too quezy in the morning.

Waking up today (Sunday) wasn’t that half bad. I felt okay, but Alina felt a bit worse. We stayed in bed most of the day and just either slept or relaxed. Got ourselves up at around one o’clock and took a shower and some food. Alina went to work at around 2:30 and I’ve been washing clothes, cleaning my room and doing the dishes.

Now I’ll probably watch a movie and just kick back in the sofa until Alina comes back from work. She’ll probably be back at around 9 or so, then we’ll probably just chill out until bedtime. Seeing as we both have to get up early tomorrow for more work and school.

This week I’ll be working Monday to Friday as usual. Seeing as it’s 50% of taxes this month, i really need to work as much as possible in order to get a decent paycheck the 20th. If my calculations are correct, i will probably receive a paycheck at around 8000kr, which is pretty neat. Most of it will go to either bills, rent, paying back loans and placing on my savings account in order to save up some money for a vacation. I really want to visit England with Alina this easter, so i want to save up a bit of money so we can maybe go to London as well and see the sites. Plan is probably to go there in the beginning of easter, cruise around in London for a couple of days, then head for Birmingham to visit our British friends.

Hopefully, once I’ve got my paycheck, i will try to invite some people to join me and Alina for a little trip to Sweden as well and do some shopping :p Would be fun. I also want to try to get some people to come with us to Pirbadet at one time and have a good swim and maybe pamper ourselves a bit. We’ll see once all the bills are payed how much I’ve got left.

Just so you know, i will try to blog more often. Only the last couple of weeks have been rather busy, and seeing as we don’t have an Internet connection it requires a bit of extra effort to get it done. Our connection will probably be back up some time the coming week though, so I’ll be back to blogging full time again then :)

For now i must say, this blog is really starting to feel like a personal, yet public, diary. And it does feel great to just write whatever is on my mind here, and actually getting feedback on what i write feels quite good as well. Hopefully I’ll be able to do this for quite a long time, so i can watch back and read up on stuff i wrote a long time ago, laugh and think «man, did i really think like that back then?».

Until next time, take care everyon
e! I’ll be back!

Friday:
So, it was maybe about time i wrote the last entry about Storås in my blog, right? Well okay, here goes. Even though I’m back home and have been so since 5 am yesterday i still have some stuff to tell.
Well, first of i managed to get one of my earplugs stuck in my left ear…which sucked pretty bad, but after some hectic work with the one end of my glasses i managed to get it out somehow. Was kind of freaked out there for a moment.

Anyway, after my previous blog it was time to go to the Kakkmaddafakka concert at huldra. Safe to say we were all pretty psyched about it, seeing as we were the ones walking around all day every day with camp kakkmaddafakka t-shirts and having a big banner above our camp that said the same. We met up in due time outside the concert hall and prepared our setup for the concert, because we each had a letter in the name kakkmaddafakka on our backs, we had to stand correct according to which letter was going first and so forth when we were going to turn around and face the band.
So after having everything set up, the band started playing, and just as they arrived, we all turned our backs at them at the same time and spelled out the name right in their faces. Safe to say they seemed pretty stunned :D Great fun. They had a really awesome concert with lots of energy and one crazy piano guy. After the concert allot of the girls wanted to head backstage and get some autographs plus maybe even invite them over to our camp later that evening. We ran to the back and after a little while, they actually came out and a few of the girls managed to get their t-shirts autographed.

Next up on the plan was Åge Alexandersen on solscenen. Safe to say there was allot of people…..both old and young. Now, i can understand that most of the trønder people really enjoyed that concert, but as for me, a guy from down south, i really can’t appreciate him the same way these people do, so i didn’t really bother paying much attention to the concert.

Back in camp we just relaxed for some time, hanging out and people starting to get quite drunk. After staying there for a while, next band up was Gogol Bordello. Me however didn’t bother heading down right away, seeing as me and Iselin really got to talking and i didn’t know much about the band, so i wasn’t that particularly interested in seeing them. After chatting with Iselin for a while about horses and whatnot, 2 people showed up and asked if they could have a seat, turns out it was 2 of the members from Kakkmaddafakka! Everyone got really psyched and tried desperately to get in touch with the people watching Gogol Bordello and tell them that kakkmaddafakka was in camp. Sadly none of them replied or picked up the phone, so we just sat chatting with the guys for a while. After about half an hour they decided to leave to get something to eat. They said they’d might come back later, but weren’t totally sure.
By then i had been listening to Gogol Bordello from down stage for some time, and figured I’d maybe go down and have a listen, and at the same time see if i could get a hold of some of the guys down there.
I stumble upon Stian, Julian and Elin standing outside the beer stand trying to get their notes exchanged for beer. I tell them all abut Kakkmaddafakka visiting us in camp, but it seems they didn’t believe us, seeing as we had been kidding earlier that day about them coming to visit us.

After listening to Gogol Bordello and some other bands we decide to head back to camp and hang out there for a while, in hope that Kakkmaddafakka might turn up again, and they did! After a few hours the entire band turns up :o 10 guys and one girl + some friends of the band hang around in our camp and talk to us. By then people were pretty drunk (all except me and Elin seeing as we both didn’t have or bothered to drink that much), and talking more or less total rubbish, disrespecting the band and generally being typical drunkards. Several other people stumble into our camp later on and just hang around with the others.
First at around 4′o clock the band decides it’s about time they leave, seeing as their plane was going to leave at around 5 am, and they got another show to play later that day.

At around 5 people are starting to get really drunk, and several really annoying people start turning up. One being this total sleaze ball trying to flirt with all the girls, and guys in our camp and generally being a real ass. After freaking out the girls for a while, we throw him out of the camp. By the Stian had been drinking so much that he had disappeared for quite some time. Inger-Lise decided it was about time he’d go find him and figure out what had happened to him. After a little while, i really needed to go to the bathroom, so i head up into the woods to take a leak. Just as i enter the woods i hear Inger-Lise yelling for me to come over. Turns out Stian had fallen asleep in the woods, completely smashed and blubbering incoherently. Me and Inger-Lise both tried to comfort him as much as possible and help him as best we could, but we both figured that we couldn’t just take him back to camp, seeing as there was still quite allot of people there. So i went back to camp and persuaded Elin to come with me and maybe stay with Inger-Lise for a while. Just as she came with me, Kenneth also joined and him and Inger-Lise helped Stian back into camp while me and Elin threw some people out and told the ones that belonged to the camp to stay quiet not to upset Stian too much.

After that we decided it would probably be about time to go to bed, so me and Elin went back into our tent and tried to go to sleep. Turns out people were still partying pretty hard all around us, and some guy in the tent next to us snored like a maniac, so we got some earplugs and tried as best we could to go to sleep. After a few minutes Julian turned up and joined us as well, he was pretty sober too and had decided it was about time to go to sleep as well.

Saturday:
Most of Saturday consisted of people having great anxiety attacks after being drunk the night before. Most people not remembering much and most of the day consisted for the most part of laughing at the people that were the most drunk last night, and what they did and said.
After people had settled down a bit, me, Stian, Inger-Lise and Elin wanted to go check out the chill out zone up in the woods, so we headed for the woods. There we came upon a couple sitting by this really cozy fire, and they were really thrilled to see us. We joined them, grilled some sausages, got some coffee from the nice couple and shared some stories about our experiences at the festival so far. By far my best day during the weekend. After staying there for a while we thought it was about time to head back down to camp and check out what people were doing, before heading into the festival area to watch some more concerts. By then it had really started raining allot for the first time during the festival (even though it had been predicted tons of rain during the past days). After getting back to camp it really started pouring down and everyone got soaked to the bone. We sat in camp for a while, got some warm clothes and talked before heading down to watch some concerts.
Ex-Girl was the first ones we watched, and i personally was really thrilled to see them again. It had been 6 years since i last saw them on café radio in Skien and i must say, they hadn’t really changed much. Still same strange music and costumes. Still, it was a fun concert and it was enjoyable to see them again after such a long time. Next up was Big Bang, which in my opinion isn’t much interesting except for their one song called “Pretties girl in Oslo”, which i really enjoy, the rest is pretty much crap, so during the concert me and Elin went to the food tent and got something to eat.
Earlier that day me and Elin had both decided we should might as well head home with the night buss that day, seeing as no concerts really interested us, and s
he was going to work the next day at around 5pm, so she’d rather take the buss at 3:30 then 8:30 in the morning. Anyway, by this time it was pouring down and the camp really started to look a bit like crap, literally. There was so much mud everyone it was impossible to walk properly and being the moron i am, i of course only had converse to the festival…. so they became just piles of mud around my feet as i walked around. Well, after a few more concerts we met up with Stian and Inger-Lise again, which both wanted to go back to the chill out zone to see the fire show they were having there was all about.

Sunday:
We head back into the forest and after some troubles finding the road, we finally stumbled upon the zone again. Now there was loads of people there, drinking and having a great time. There was also a tiny band playing background music and some people doing acrobatics with sticks and other stuff on fire. After sitting there for a while watching them and people, me and Elin figured it would be about time to head back down to camp and start packing for our way back into Trondheim.
As we returned to camp, first person i meet i Julian sitting there alone, saying “why are you so late?”, turns out he was going with us as well, but hadn’t told us, so now he was annoyed because we were supposed to take down the tent for Kenneth a bit earlier, but now we didn’t have time, so we just had to rush packing our stuff and head straight for the buss. We finally got to the buss after fighting our way trough piles of mud and drunk people. Tired, dirty and wet we got on the buss and started our way into Trondheim. Julian almost fell asleep, but i had a hard time doing so, mostly because of the incredibly annoying girl talking constantly about crap with her boyfriend, very loud and with a terrible annoying voice. The fact that she was really really drunk made it all even worse.

After what seemed an eternity, we finally arrived back in Trondheim. After dragging our way back home, first thing i did was pull of everything i wore, and jumped straight in the shower. That was probably the best shower I’d ever had ever….seeing as i hadn’t had a shower for 3 days, and was probably covered in beer, mud and sweat from head to toe, it’s no big surprise. Then i arranged my stuff, cleaned out my shoes (which by then was so full of mud i had to wash them in the shower first) and put my shoes in the washing machine. Then it was straight for bed. I fell asleep almost right away and slept until 3′o clock. Rest of the day was more or less just relaxing and getting all my stuff in order.
In the evening Silje and Andreas asked me out on cinema and we watched The Simpson’s movie with Julian and Margrethe.

All in all, it was a great festival, rain, morons and lack of showering all things considered. I will most probably go next year as well, if i have the chance to :)

After arriving at camp and joining our band camp, i ran across several people i know amongst other one of the people i share apartment with, and 2 people that came over on Thursday to pick up the two sofas i was giving away. Turns out they were going to have the sofas at their camp, which is pretty cool.
So after checking out the camp area, we started with the beers and music! First up was cloroform, which me, Elin and Inger-lise really enjoyed. Great fun music. Next band we watched was samvirkelaget, which is a band consisting of klovner i kamp and hopalong knut. Great band with some really politically focused lyrics. Cool part is that some of us know one of the guys playing the accordion in hopalong knut, so he stopped by and said hello after the concert.
After some running around doing not much, it was time for the next concert which was mari boine, some really strange "same"-rock. Was ok, but really not anything i'd like to buy. After boine, along came dia psalma, an hard rock Swedish band. Of course it ended in a moshpit with me, Elin, Inger-lise and Julian throwing each other around and going completely nuts. Great fun.
Then we had a short break, seeing as we all were tired, and couldn't be arsed listening to Balkan beatbox. After the break, we head over to watch Motorpsycho, but i have to admit, i'm not much of a fan, so i went back to camp halfway and got myself a jumper. Coming back to the stages, the cumshots were playing, and i must say, they rock! Really awesome stage play from Christopher Schau and some really catchy tunes. Me and Elin decided not to join the moshpit this time, but Julian was going completely nuts.
Last show was Millencolin, a Swedish rock band, but by then i was too tired to join the show, so i just stayed in the back and listened.
After the final show, we all headed back to camp, turned out most of the others in the camp had gone to bed by then, so we thought we'd might as well do the same. Seeing as i didn't have any room to set up my tent, i ended up sharing tent with Julian and Elin.
Today we're all just hanging around in camp and doing absolutely nothing. I'll probably try to get something to eat and just walk aimlessly until the concerts begin.

Well, seems I’ve gone and caught myself a pretty good sunburn. Nothing that hurts too bad, it just stings a bit. The reason for this is probably the fact that i was out all day yesterday, and the sun was hotter then hell. Who knows, maybe I’ll actually get a tan this summer =)
Okay, so to sum it up. I was out yesterday around 12, and met up with Silje. We had a coffee at bakklandet and just chilled out on krana. We did however decide to move away from there due to a crazy swarm of little black flies roaming the area. Head over to marinen and ended up sitting there for quite a while before Andreas showed up and we all just sat enjoying the beautiful weather.

After heading home for dinner, i received a text just as i got home, from Sonja asking if i wanted to join for grilling and beer on marinen. I was a little hesitant to be honest, seeing as I’d been walking around town for quite a bit, and also I’d just come home and wanted something to eat. I did however decide to join, seeing as I’m not the one to turn down a chance to meet people and have a great time.
I head back to marinen with Hanna and met up with Sonja and Gaute. We had a few beers, some sausages and just relaxed in the evening sun. Julian and a couple of his school buddies popped by, but had to go almost straight away to catch an evening recital. After just hanging around for a while, we played some Frisbee until we got too tired to continue.

Fun fact: from Marinen to our house it’s 3188 steps, and it takes 29minutes in my walking speed to get there. Having a pedometer is fun =)

Today I’ve been sitting for the most part inside watching random videos on youtube, but I’m heading out around 13:45 to catch a flashmob that’s going down on solsiden. Hopefully it will work out smoothly and we’ll have great fun doing it. After that I’ll probably just hang out or head back home, depending on if we meet someone or not. Then I’ll be heading over to Silje and Andreas’ place around 6′o clock to help them move some furniture and start working on my outfit for our alphabetparty of the month. Most of the day seems more or less set out for me, and I’m looking forward to it :)

So last thing i wrote was that i had a really boring Sunday, nothing had happened and i doubted anything would happen. But alas, soon after i got a text from Elin, asking if i wanted to do something! Turns out she had been having a totally crap day as well, and needed to see someone.
I of course accepted, seeing as i have had a crap day myself, and ran off to solsiden to meet up with her. She wanted to have a cup of coffee before we went to see a movie.
After hanging around on solsiden, drinking a rather crap cup of coffee mocca, and watching a drug addict push café signs over, we thought it was about time to ditch that sorry excuse of a café and go watch a film.

Once at her place, we just chill out, hanging at her room complaining about our crap day, and the coffee mocca, when another friend of her appear. We sit and chat for quite some time, then decide to watch a movie (this was around 2 am.). We all just huddle up on a mattress and watch Dark city until the sun returns. By then I’m pretty damn tired, so i just say my goodnight’s and head on for some sleep.

Most of the Monday morning pretty much consisted of sleeping, and then some more sleeping. Fast forward to around 3′o clock, i decide i can’t just sit in on such a fine day, summer, sun and girls with very little clothes on. So i pop into town, find a nice café (being choco boco nordre this time) and get myself a cup’o coco. While walking into town i sent about 7 texts to people, asking if anyone felt like a trip out on town, have some coffee and just chill. 3 people responded, so after a short while, Sonja joins me, then Stian, Inger-Lise and Stacy join in. We chat and have a good time, when it suddenly turns a bit cold. Being hungry and not too keen on leaving the fun-loving group we just gathered, we decide to go do some BBQ.
Me, Stacy, Inger-Lise and Stian go buy sausages and stuffz (mm, chicken) and Sonja goes to fetch the grill someone left at the C-Party.

After an indeed quite successful grilling, we figure it’s time to head for Mikroen, get a couple of brewskies and just chill. We end up playing cards for a few hours and then decide it’s time to head home. A great day it was, and we all went home happy. The rest of the evening i just sat reading comics.

Next day turns out pretty boring really, Tuesday i head for town as usually, get some comics at the library and finish reading the Lucifer series. Really a great series, but really something i need to read over again because i didn’t get much of it in the end. I might just buy it, but we’ll see.
Anyway, after sitting in town for quite a long time doing nothing, i get bored and decide to head home for some food. Once home i notice a msn message from Inger-Lise, where she says there’s hobby night at theirs tonight, as it usually is. I send a text to Stian asking if he’s got a spare guitar, seeing as I’m working on my guitar skillz. Turns out he does, and he also asks me to bring a beer, because they’ve got tons of meat, and that we’re having a bbq :D So of course i skip dinner and head straight up there.
We have steak with rice and grilled corn, and it’s great! After a while we move in and play some strange board game i really can’t remember the name of, but it was great fun. At around 10′o clock, after too much coffee, we decide it’s about time to head home. Me, Julian and Kjetil hitch a ride with Kenneth and we all get home safely. The end :p

As for today, I’ve been sitting on a bench in Nordre watching people walk by for about 2 hours. It was fun, but then it got frustrating. There’s so many pretty girls with tiny tops, skirts and other revealing clothing X_x. Now I’m probably off to festningen to play kubb/volleyball or just relax. Depends on how many that show up :)
